Direct Care Workers

At Caregivers 2 Assist, our Direct Care Workers play a crucial role in fostering quality, independent lifestyles for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the best possible care experience.

Reporting to the Member Care Supervisor, this role involves providing non-medical assistance to meet the needs of members in their homes. Direct Care Workers assist with personal care activities such as routine house cleaning, laundry, ambulation, transfers, meal preparation, feeding assistance, companionship, and helping with learning objectives as specified in the service plan. This position requires traveling between members' homes, and the employee must possess reliable, insured transportation or utilize the transit system to cover clients' scheduled hours of care. Working hours may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
